libdbi1-dbg software package provides DB Independent Abstraction Layer for C -- debugging symbols, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdbi1-dbg
libdbi1-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdbi1-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdbi1-dbg *
You will get with libdbi1-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
